Room Descriptions

Pompeii Grand Ballroom:

The crowning jewel of our center features rich wood paneling and vaulted ceilings with elegant, modern lighting.  For banquets we can serve 650, and as a theater, 1,500.  Using soundproof partitions, we can also offer you the option of dividing the ballroom into three rooms, each serving 150 guests.  Each room has its own entrances, utilities, and audio-visual hook-ups.

Distinctive Galleria:

With its floor-to-ceiling courtyard windows, magnificent paintings and reproduction of Michelangelo's La Pietà,  the Ignazio & Maria Crivello Galleria is perfect for receptions and displays.  Alone or combined with the Pompeii Grand Ballroom, it is simply gorgeous.

La Pietà  (Italian for pity)  depicts the Virgin Mary cradling the dead body of Jesus.  As such, it is a particular form of the Lamentation of Christ, a scene from the Passion of Christ found in cycles of the Life of Christ.  A famous example by Michelangelo is located in St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican City.

Comfortable Festa Hall:

For receptions of 400 or banquets of 250, this warm and ample-sized room will undoubtedly fulfill all of your needs.  It is comfortable & functional for business presentations and for use as an expo center or trade show.  It is also very attractive, and our staff will create a lovely atmosphere for proms, weddings, and parties of all nature.

Open Air Courtyard:

Schedule an outdoor reception, lunch, or barbeque in our spacious Courtyard.  Equipped with bistro tables, chairs, and umbrellas, the Courtyard is open from spring to early fall.  Its central location also makes it a perfect area to expand into an indoor/outdoor event.  Featuring a fountain and statues from Italy, the atmosphere is quite charming.

Flexible Bocce Hall:

This is our most versatile room.  You can play bocce (Italian lawn bowling) on Milwaukee's only indoor courts, or use it as a smaller banquet hall or meeting room.  You decide.

Private Conference Rooms:

For your seminar, training program or small reception, choose one of our four conference rooms - the Columbus Room, the Dante Room, the Da Vinci Room or the Marconi Room.  Each one has its own entrance.  The Marconi Room even has kitchen facilities.

Audio-Visual Capabilities:

All of our rooms, except the conference rooms, are wired to support virtually any audio-visual system that you may need.  Bring your own equipment, or we will gladly supply one of our professional vendors.  High-Speed Internet is also available upon request.

Pompeii Meditation Room:

Inspired by the former Our Lady of Pompeii Church in the Third Ward, the meditation room is a place for both personal reflection and the study of a fine collection of religious art.

Cafe La Scala:

Open to the public and complete with full bar, Cafe La Scala is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal or relax at the end of the day.

The ICC Tradition:

The Italian Conference Center's hospitality is an Italian and a Milwaukee tradition.  The ICC is committed to serving the needs of all ethnic groups and the Milwaukee community as a whole by opening its educational, cultural, social and recreational activities to everyone.

It is not necessary to be Italian to spend time with us, to enjoy our facilities, or to eat with us at our restaurant.
We just want you to experience and love the Italian culture as much as we do.
Please enjoy our Community Center, Conference Center and Cafe La Scala.
Benvenuti!  (Welcome everyone!)
